Two blogs on Thursday, Peters accuses National of being brown-mailed and Goff’s proposed new motorway tax would continue Brown’s legacy sent the statistics first through 4000 and then through 5000.
When I started blogging two years ago I wondered if I would ever reach what seemed then to be the magical goal of a thousand readers a day. I never imagined 2000 let alone 5000.
I was feeling pretty chuffed before Christmas when the average daily readership figures went over 2000, helped by two blogs in two days reaching then new highs close to 3500, but since starting again in earnest on 19th January several blogs have topped 3000 page views.
Broadening the subject range has helped the blog’s popularity. So has taking a contrarian view to the popular mythology created by politically correct media.
Some love it: some hate it but still feel compelled to read. Either way, thanks to all of you for making my day.
