Cameron Brewer has reported back from the meeting. It is good news for the eastern suburbs.
Following today's council 3 hour behind-closed-doors review of itself on its unitary plan processes thus far, I can confidently report 11 of us councillors remain absolutely steadfast. Coincidentally the 10 defenders represent the least affected or concerned wards. Yet apparently we are the ones playing politics and who have conflicts of interest. Go figure!!!
Whether or not the ‘out of scope’ plan changes will be withdrawn will be decided at a public meeting of Council next Wednesday. I hope to be there to see Brown/Hulse defeated just for once.
