Some of the questioning was quite hostile, but that is only to be expected when I have been so outspoken on most of the issues the island is facing. To his credit Chris has not abridged the interview. Here is the link.
One of the matters touched on in the interview was working with other Board members. As it happened I was meeting candidate, and current Board member, Shirin Brown for a coffee immediately after the interview. This followed my invitation to her to clear the air after my blog Marina Myths Unmasked on Friday, which she had accepted.
We talked for an hour about local board issues and agreed that robust debate around the Board table from members expressing a wide range of views would be a better way forward for the island.
In the morning I was busy at the Ostend Market and outside the Countdown supermarket talking with residents’ about their concerns while handing out my leaflets.
All in all, a very constructive day on the campaign trial.
